Our Road Home is about recognizing that life is a gift and the special part that love plays in our ability to receive that gift. How happy and fulfilled our life can be is determined by our willingness to unlock the love in our hearts and share this gift freely with others. The less we share, the more we become overwhelmed with emotions such as fear, anger and guilt. We may drift or isolate ourselves within the dark clouds of loneliness, anguish and worthlessness. To heal from this pain we must draw upon our inner strength, trust others and ourselves, and develop an overall faith in life and in God's love for us. Sharing our love creates memories that we will carry to eternity.

Our Road Home is a musical expression of the sadness, loneliness and pain we experience when we lose someone we dearly love. The songs speak of our desire to reach out for help to others and to God - even though we may not believe we really want or deserve it. We come to realize that sharing a life filled with dreams, love and gratitude, will direct us to our final crossroad. We will have the strength we need to carry our backpack of life, filled with all of our experiences memories and dreams, on the path to our Father's home.

I believe that Wendy gave up her life so that I might find my way in mine. Through her passing, I have been able to reflect upon my life, my dreams and myself. I have come to learn that a strong love within, when shared, will bring - peace where there is anger; strength where there is fear and forgiveness where there is guilt. With this, I now know that in the end, we will share immortal love and eternal happiness.
